Camp Hopewell is excited to offer Opt Outside, a day program for virtual learners in Kindergarten through 6th grades. With many of the schools in our area going virtual or with families choosing virtual or hybrid options for school, we are thrilled to be able to take what we learned during our two successful weeks of summer camp and apply it to this program. By utilizing small groups and social distancing we aim to offer a place for students to come work on school work, interact with other children, and get lots of time outdoors, while mitigating the risk of COVID 19. We will run two months of this program, September 8 - October 1 and October 5- October 29 . You will be required to register for a whole month ( or both!) with options for 4 , 2 , & 1 day(s) a week. Students will need to bring their own lunches, snacks, and computers/schoolwork. Our staff will be on hand to facilitate activities, provide care for your child and offer basic help with assignments however, they will not be available for tutoring or teaching schoolwork. While they are at Hopewell students will get to participate in pool time and canoeing/kayaking (while it is still warm), arts and crafts, archery, and lots of nature study!

Schedules will be flexible to allow students time to engage with their virtual classrooms.
