Keynote: Rev. Julie Bailey
Julie is an ordained PCUSA pastor originally from Charleston, Mississippi. She has served on staff at Camp Hopewell and as a pastor in Memphis, TN. She currently serves as the Director of Alumni and Church Relations at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. She is married to Davis, also a Presbyterian pastor (originally from Hernando, MS), and has two girls, Miriam (8) and Elizabeth (5), and a dog named Sandy. When not working at the seminary or playing with her family, Julie enjoys cooking and gardening or most anything outdoors.
Hopewell is a holy place to encounter God, and with incredible company, delicious food , it will be a perfect time away for… remembering – Remembering our own stories; the stories of those who shaped us; and remembering God’s stories…
This weekend will be different. You are choosing to get away from your regular routine to remember and reflect on your story and God’s story, so that we might honor these stories with intentionality in our everyday lives.
