Church Camps
DAY CAMP
Ages: 6-8
If you are wanting a “taste” of camp or are just wanting another opportunity to be a part of the Hopewell summer experience, here’s your chance! Campers will spend each day M-F from 9-4 at Hopewell playing games, swimming, doing archery, arts and crafts, canoeing, hiking and much more! They will go home each evening and return to camp the next morning for a new, exciting day. Lunch and a healthy snack will be provided.
MINI DAY CAMP
This session offer the same great experience as the full day camp, but only for 3 days!
DISCOVERY CAMPS
Ages: 7-9 • Cost: $330
Discovery Camp provides an exciting week of fun for younger campers that introduces them to the all-around camp experience. Campers stay for a full week and enjoy camp activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, canoeing, archery, Bible Study, cooking and camping out, nature study, hiking, dancing, games and more! Friendships are developed here that continue and are renewed each year that the camper returns to camp.
WEE BIT CAMP
Ages: 6-8 • Cost: $205
Wee Bit Camp is a short 3-day experience designed for first time campers. Campers are introduced to camp activities and taught many new skills. Though only at camp for a few days, Wee Bit campers enjoy swimming, canoeing, arts and crafts, nature studies, games and loads of fun! This confidence-building session is the perfect beginning for a long term Hopewell camper.
EXPLORER CAMPS
SHERWOOD CAMP
Ages: 10-12 • Cost: $330
Sherwood Camp is an all-around camp experience for those who enjoy exploring nature, and discovering God’s creation. Through Challenge Course, nature studies, cooking and camping out, archery, canoeing, swimming and other fun activities, campers build new skills and grow strong friendships.
TREEHOUSE SHERWOOD CAMP
Ages: 10-12 • Cost: $350
Sherwood Camp taken up a notch! Campers reside in the Treehouse, our cabin up in the woods. Normally reserved for our Adventure Campers, during this week, Sherwood campers take it over, kicking the older kids out! Register Early! Space is limited, but the fun isn’t!
EXPLORER CANOE CAMP
Ages 10-12 • Cost: $385
Does canoeing the lakes of Camp Hopewell and Bear Creek at Tishomingo State Park sound exciting to you? Campers during this session will spend lots of time in the water swimming, playing and obviously, canoeing! We will take a day trip to Tishomingo State Park for fun canoeing and a tasty cook-out! Space is limited.
UP THE CHALLENGE CAMP
Ages: 10-12 • Cost: $330
If you choose to push the element a bit and take your adventures to a new level, then this is the camp session for you! This camp is for those who love the excitement of Hopewell’s amazing challenge Course. Campers will spend each day experiencing new challenges. Space is limited, so sign UP today!
AREN’T WE CRAFTY? CAMP “NEW”
Ages: 10-12 • Cost: $350
Does a week of crafts galore sound like fun to you? During this new session, campers will work with paper, paint, paste, wood recycled trash, clay and other fun mediums creating incredible works of art. In between, there will be plenty of time for challenge course, swimming, archery, nature hikes and other fun camp activities.
EXPLORER NIGHT OWL CAMP
Ages: 10-12 • Cost: $350
New to Hopewell this summer is a full week of Night Owl Camp…for the whole camp! During this session, all campers will be night owls. The regular camp schedule will be tossed in the trash, as we stay up late, eat meals later, snack late and play late! Late-night activities will include campfires, night hikes, worship, camping, glow-in-the-dark games and more. To end out our week, we will have an exciting late night dance party on Friday evening. Woo Hoot!
MAD (Music, Arts and Drama) CAMP
Ages: 10-12 • Cost: $350 • Date: July 18-24
Let that actor, musician, or budding artist inside of you break free at MAD Camp! A week-long experience in stage production, this camp is a hit at Hopewell, and you can be a part of it. Campers work with a guest artist to learn music and script, set design, costuming and prop making. The grand finale is a performance for the whole camp on Thursday evening and for parents and family on Saturday morning. It's coming soon...so don't miss it! Space is limited.
ADVENTURE CAMPS
Ages: 13-15
ADVENTURES AT HOPEWELL
Cost: $350
Campers will arrive on Sunday, do some new and exciting group challenges, and then, as a group, plan their schedule for the week! What do you like best about camp? Want to stay up late, sleep in, swim often, lead Bible Study, zip twice, play much Ultimate, plan a menu, just chill out. Well, you get to decide! It’s about time, eh? This camp filled fast last summer, so register early!
ADVENTURES IN WHITEWATER RAFTING
Cost: $600
If high adventure is your thing, rafting is for you! Campers will spend a day at camp with team building activities and then head to the mountains of NC for 3 days of amazing whitewater. We will reside and raft with the Nantahala Outdoor Center, enjoying 3 rivers in the area. Campers will return to close out their week at camp. Space is limited to 12 campers, so reserve your spot today!
ADVENTURE NIGHT OWL “NEW”

ADVENTURES IN ROCK CLIMBING
Cost: $400
You asked for it again, and you got it! Rock Climbing returns to Hopewell this summer. Campers will learn basic rock climbing skills at the beginning of the week here at camp on the Challenge Course. On Wednesday, we will travel to Alabama in the gorgeous Sipsey Wilderness for some awesome natural rock climbing, hiking and rappelling. Campers will tent camp while away and return to camp on Friday to enjoy the closing with other campers. Space is limited, so climb aboard early for this session!
ADVENTURES IN LEADERSHIP
Age: 16
Cost: $310
Are you ready to lead? Would you like to participate in all kinds of fun and interesting activities with an awesome group of friends, while acquiring skills that will help you to be a better person? Do you desire to work on staff at Camp Hopewell? If these things appeal to you, you can’t miss Leadership Camp. Spend a week as a camper and then return to camp for an additional week as a volunteer Support Staff. WE WANT YOU for this fun and rewarding experience!
