Welcome

PYC Retreats

St. Andrew Presbytery has an outstanding group of senior high Presbyterians who do the planning for the annual youth retreats. These “youth leaders” are the ST. ANDREW PRESBYTERIAN YOUTH COUNCIL. This is an amazing group of young adults who give of their time and energy to minister to youth in our Presbytery. We are truly blessed to have their creativity, enthusiasm, spiritual depth, and maturity to guide us as we seek to hear God’s call.

This year the annual Winter Retreats were held for the Senior High youth on February 15-17 and for the Junior High on February 29-March 2.  Both were HUGE successes.  The weather was warm, the activities were fun and the keynotes were very meaningful.  For the Senior High retreat our keynote speaker was Brian Coulter, a student at Columbia Theological Seminary.  For the Junior High, we went with a different approach.  The PYC decided that they would like to lead the keynote sessions for their small groups.  It was a great learning experience for them and something they would like to continue in the future.  We were very lucky to have music leader, Jeffrey Harper, back with us for BOTH retreats this year.
